Actual product referenceWelded Mesh Temporary Fence
Portable galvanized welded-panel fencing for sites & events
A welded mesh temporary fence is a portable, free-standing panel of galvanized welded wire mesh set into concrete or plastic feet — used to secure construction sites, control crowds and contain sites. Leeter manufactures hot-dip galvanized temporary fence panels in Hebei, China and at our joint-venture fence factory in Vietnam (an alternative origin where trade measures affect China-made fencing), with 2.5–6.0mm wire, AU/NZ, Canadian and US panel formats, standard heights from 1.0m to 2.0m, and matching feet, clamps and couplers for fence-rental fleets and distributors.

What are the standard sizes of temporary fence panels?
The regional benchmarks are 2.4m × 2.1m in Australia/New Zealand (AS 4687 practice) and 3.5m × 2.0m Heras-type panels in the UK/EU; we also build 2.0–3.0m × 1.0–2.0m general-purpose panels with 50×100mm to 80×160mm mesh and 2.5–6.0mm wire. Panel size, mesh and finish are made to your market's standard.
How many temporary fence panels fit in a container?
It depends on panel size, wire diameter and whether feet are nested with the panels. Send us your panel spec and we will give an exact panels-per-20ft/40ft-container figure with a loading plan.
What wire diameter and mesh size should temporary fence panels use?
For general site perimeters, 3.0–4.0mm wire with a 60×150mm or 75×150mm mesh is standard; for higher-security or anti-climb sites, step up to 4.0–6.0mm wire with a tighter 50×100mm mesh. Heavier wire and smaller openings resist cutting and climbing but add weight and cost per panel, so match the spec to the site risk.
Are the panels hot-dip galvanized?
Yes — rental-fleet panels are normally hot-dip galvanized because they are stored and redeployed outdoors for years, and the thicker zinc layer survives repeated handling. Electro-galvanized, powder-coated and PVC-coated finishes are available where appearance or budget matters more than maximum service life.
What is the MOQ and lead time for temporary fence panels?
MOQ runs from one pallet for stock sizes up to a mixed 20ft or 40ft container for custom specs, with 15–35 day lead times depending on volume and finish. We supply matched feet, clamps and couplers so the whole fleet stays interchangeable, plus OEM/private-label packing for fence-rental brands.
